The Renault Zoe uses Type 2 single phase and Type 2, 3 phase charging cables. Please check your manual to ensure you buy the correct cable.
The 2020 Renault Zoe features a 52 kWh battery, which can be fully charged in just 3 hours using one of our fast charge 22kW cables charging on 3 phase power. The same cable can be used to charge at a single phase home charging station with 7.2kW capability in around 8 hours making this an ideal cable for the Renault Zoe. Earlier models from 2016 (ZE 40) onwards also feature 3 phase charging but with a smaller battery and the same EV cable would also be suitable.
Our Type 2 EV charging cables can be used with public charger stations and home charging points. All our cables are orange for high visibility and feature ergonomic grips and flexible cable for ease of handling and storage. These cables are approved and safety tested by TUV to ensure they are the highest quality and safe for use.
Type 2 charging cables can be used with all cars with Type 2 (Mennekes) power inlets. The Type 2 female end plugs into your vehicle and the Type 2 male end plugs into the power supply. Type 2 cables can be either single phase or 3 phase.
Our Type 2 cables for the Renault Zoe charge at a rate of either 3.7kW (16A), 7.2kW (32A), 11kW (3 Phase 16A), or 22kW (3 Phase 32A). Various options are available including power rating, cable length and single or 3 phase.
Recommended Renault Zoe Charging Cables
Cablacar recommends using at least 22kW charging cables. A Renault Zoe with a 41kWh battery and 22kw onboard charger will fully charge in 2 hours using a 22kW charging cable plugged into a 3 phase supply. Using the same cable in a domestic charging point will fully charge the car in 6 hours. Recommended cables have Renault Zoe in the product title, however all the cables shown are compatible with the Renault Zoe.
