Renault Zoe Charging Information
Although the Renault Zoe is capable of 3 phase charging, if you do not have access to a 3 phase charger this single phase mode 3 fast charge cable should suffice for many users. Fast charge cables allow for charging at up to 7.2kW when plugged into a single phase charging station which is the maximum for home charging points.
The Renault Zoe uses a Type 2 to Type 2 EV cable for fast charging. Type 2 cables are the European standard and will plug into most domestic and work charging stations. All mode 3 cables have Type 2 (Mennekes) plugs at the charging station end.
The 2020 Renault Zoe features a 52 kWh battery, giving it a driving range of 245 miles. The battery can be fully charged in around 8 hours using this 7.2kW cable charging on single phase power. The same cable can be used to charge at public charging stations, however you will not be able to benefit from the increased charge rate for 3 phase cables which have 22kW capability and can charge the Renault Zoe battery in just 3 hours. We also offer this cable as a 5 meter cable.
